International Ambassadors Informal Blog Hop

Hi Everybody,

We, some of the International Ambassadors for Spellbinders,  have been doing this informal blog hop for over two years now and between us we have covered many subjects and themes.

This month we are doing Valentines Day and using some of the newer dies that are there for you to buy.

For my card I chose the  Bowlicious  die set is in three parts and one of the cutting edges can be moved to extend the depth of the bow
You can use it to add a separate bow to the edge of your card or you can layer it up to create a more full look.

Change the colour scheme and alter the sentiment and it can be used all year round

Now why not pop over to my colleagues and see what they have in store for you this month.

International Ambassadors Informal Blog Hop

Hi Everybody,

And welcome to a New Year of Ambassador Blog Hops.

This is where some of the Spellbinders International Ambassadors like to say thank you to each and every one who takes the time to visit us and leave comments on a regular basis.

Our theme for this hop was to show you some of the new dies that are coming from Spellbinders and for mine I am using the lovely

I had to trim it down to make it fit the front of my 5x7 card and I added it with foam pads underneath to raise it up.

Adding lace to my cards gives them an extra touch and the one along the bottom is created with white card and the

It was a quick and easy card to make but I think it looks really pretty

So why not pop along and see what the other Ambassadors have created for you  ... I know you won't be disappointed with the talent that they all have

International Ambassadors Informal Blog Hop

Hi Everybody,

Are you ready for another blog hop with some of the International Ambassadors?
For this month we chose for our theme the approaching holiday season to make anything but a card
My choice was to use a die by a designer that is new to Spellbinders Marisa Job.

Marisa does beautiful work and I have been a follower of her for a long time.
But this is the "Surprise Me Box"  and it is part of her Special Occasions Collection
It makes the most adorable little Crackers for your table and not just for Christmas.
Imagine these all set out with your own colour scheme and each with a little gift tucked inside for your guests.
They are not very big but they do make a statement and they are very easy to make.
You will be able to get two from one sheet of A4 card.

I stamped plain white card with a snowflake pattern and then cut them out.
I wrapped them with matching ribbon and added one of the little tags in the set stamped with a Christmas greeting.

I added in some leaves and a glitter star and they are ready to add to my table. I made quite a few ... but I can't tell you what is inside the Surprise Me Box !!
Why don't you pop over and see what my colleagues have designed for you to see ...

You are sure to be delighted with their designs. and don't forget to leave us all a comment to say that you have been to visit.

International Ambassadors Informal Blog Hop

Hi Everybody,

Today is another chance for you to go blog hopping with the International Ambassadors and for our theme this month we have chosen Fall.

I have created a card that is a million miles away from my style and this card was inspired by Christine Smith from CraftiPotential

I have used the  Fall Foliage  set from Spellbinders to make stamps with craft foam from the dies and this is a set that has been around for quite some time

I have used all the autumn colours of Distress inks to stamp the leaves onto some smooth white stamping card.

I used the border stamp from Clearly Besotted along the left side and I rounded the corner off at the bottom right

This panel has been raised on foam pads to give some dimension to the card.

So why not pop along and see what the other Ambassadors have come up with  and please leave us a comment to let us know that you visited....

International Ambassadors Informal Blog Hop - Debi Adams

Hi Everybody,

Each month we like to get together and share with you the things that some of the Ambassadors have created.

We also try to have a theme and over the last few months we have featured our makes using dies from some of the Designers for Spellbinders.

We have featured Stacy Caron and Seth Apter dies and stamps and this month we have decided to go with Debi Adams.
I have chosen to use her stamps and matching dies named  Floral Devine

I have teamed them with some other dies and embossing folders to get the look I wanted

The top card is a 5x7 and the bottom one is a 6" Square.

Both have added pearls to add that little bit more

I have water coloured both cards and then added the flowers and leaves with different thicknesses of foam pads underneath to give height

These hops are to show you what we create and to thank you for all your support during the year so please pop along and see what the others have to offer you this month  as there is sure to be something that catches your eye

International Ambassadors Informal Blog Hop

Hi Everybody,

Its that time of the month again when some of the Ambassadors go hopping around and we really hope that you will join us again.

This month we have chosen Tags for our theme and each one of us would like to show you what we have created

I made mine in the Shabby Chic Style that I really enjoy making and for this I created my tag from Labels 28

I cut this three times and glued them all together for extra strength.

Then I added different elements to create the background and added in some torn paper.

The die cut under the flowers is Victorian Medallion One

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and they have been sparkled with fine glitter

To see what my colleagues have designed please pop along to ...

International Ambassadors Informal Blog Hop

Hi Everybody,

Here we are again with another International Ambassadors Blog Hop and we would like to say "Thank You" to all of you who take part in this.

We try to do this hop once a month and use a different theme each time to showcase some of the beautiful dies from Spellbinders

It is our way to show you the style that each of us has and hopefully you will enjoy what we come up with.

For this month we decided to use the dies by Seth Apter who is one of the licensed designers for Spellbinders

The die I chose to use is  Splatter Proof  and I have used Brusho Crystal Colours and sequins to get the look.

I added yellow, orange and red randomly on wet card and allowed the colours to spread on their own on a large piece of card.

I used part for my background and the other I cut with the Splatter Proof die. After adding the background panel I added the die cuts so that the colours would show up and dotted sequins around in blending tones

Please pop along to my talented friends and see what they have come up with this month for your delight, and please leave us a comment so that we know you have visited ... See you again next month for another IA Informal Blog Hop

International Ambassadors Informal Blog Hop ...

Hi Everybody,

Time for another Informal Blog Hop and this time we have chosen to use Embossing Folders for our theme.  For my card I chose the Medallion Design by Donna Salazar  and it gives a really elegant look to the card.

I did a video awhile ago on how to get the  Letterpress Technique   and that way you can make the most of any of your folders to give you two different designs.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and as always they are sparkled with fine glitter. The links are at the bottom of the post for you to view the products.  The sentiment has been stamped and embossed and then fussy cut and added to a parchment circle

So now it's time to hop your way to the next Blog post and see what my very talented friends have created for your delight this month ..

International Ambassadors Informal Blog Hop

Hi Everybody,

Time for another informal blog hop with some of the International Ambassadors and another chance for you to see each of us as you go around the world.  We decided for our theme this month to us some of the beautiful Boxes  that have been released by Spellbinders in the past few months
For mine I chose to use the Steel Rule SR-48 Keeping Tabs to make this simple little box, and give you some idea of how you can dress it up. You will need a die cutting machine that will take the deeper format but with these dies you can cut several layers in one pass.
Ideal if you are making lots of them as Wedding Favor Boxes

I have used the Platinum Die Cutting Machine and some patterned card to show you how it looks once cut and all you need to do is fill it with goodies and then curl it up into the closures.

I had some fun turning one of them into a Rabbit with big googly eyes and stand up ears..

The other has flowers that blend with the scheme and it would be lovely to hold that special gift.

I hope you will take the time to visit my talented friends and see what delights  they have to show you this month.

International Ambassadors Informal Blog Hop

 Hi Everybody,

Here we are with another Informal Blog Hop and for this month we chose the  beautiful new Art Deco dies that have been designed by Stacey Caron. This is the Astoria Collection and I have linked to all three sets for you to view the shapes
The card shows the Astoria Decorative Accents  for the base card.  I have used  the Decorative Elements to go with it for the centre panel. The plain Astoria  creates the label for the sentiment and the mats underneath from gold mirror card. The tassel under the flowers is also cut from gold.

I have had emails asking for some ideas for the Art Deco Collection  dies and so tomorrows Tuesday Tutorial will feature them. They are also the subject of Thursdays YouTube video tutorial so I hope you will come back to see both of them

My flowers are as always from Wild Orchid Crafts and I have kept them all white to compliment the card.  They have been sprinkled with glitter from Glitter Magic and the tiny pearls are from  Want2Scrap

We started these hops as a way for you to get to know our indivdual styles and to say "Thank You" to all our loyal supporters. so now it's time to pop over and visit the other ambassadors and see what they have to show you.
